It is funny the way the simplest of things can make a dramatic change in your life. I used to suffer with a lot of acid reflux and heartburn. Sometimes it felt as if I had a pile in my chest that was aflame.
Clearly I had gone thru the medical route and had been prescribed the usual concoction of antacid tablets and liquids and proton pump inhibitors. I had roughly $20 worth of medication on my shelf ready to be used.
Then as I was browsing the Net I stumbled upon the alkaline nature of lemons. To me this sounded ludicrous ; lemons are acidic and could not potentially help. What I discovered was that lemons leave behind an alkaline residue in the body that his highly useful to those suffering from angina and acid reflux.
